This is a basting sauce for steaks as they are cooking on the grill.
1 stick of butter
4 tbsp of Tabasco
New Orleans Style Steak Sauce
3 cloves minced garlic
1/8 tbsp of Tabasco Sauce
1/8 tbsp of Cajun seasoning (I use Zatarain's and a little extra black
and cayenne pepper)
1/2 of medium lemon squeezed.
Melt butter and sauté' garlic in it for 5 to 8 minutes.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes more.
Baste your steak while it is cooking on the grill and then once again
once you pull it off.
My mother gave me the original recipe but you know how we are, we have
to improvise a little. The original is never good enough.
