Cajun seafood dipping sauce can be used not only with seafood, but also
goes well with sausage. This is a dipping sauce we use for boiled
seafood.
1 - cup mayonnaise
1/2 - cup ketchup
2 Tbs. yellow mustard
1/4 tsp. Creole seasoning
Pinch of black or white pepper
Cayenne pepper to taste
Few drops of liquid crab boil
2 Pinches of garlic powder
2 Pinches onion powder
Onions and Garlic from the boil chopped.
Taste and adjust as you like.... Sometimes I add minced fresh onion,
green onion and parsley.
Tip: Make the recipe, remove half, add extra pepper and now you have a
peppered batch and a mild batch.
Tip: For still another variation, try adding a little honey to the
mixture. It’s like a Cajun sweet & sour sauce. Kids seem to like it....
Thanks Sherry
Mix well and keep cool.
