Cooking Louisiana - Fudge

Fudge Recipe
8 Cups granulated white sugar.
6 Heaping tablespoons cocoa powder.
2 Cans evaporated milk.
1 Stick margarine, room temperature.
1 Jar marshmallow cream, room temperature.
(Optional) cup whole pecans, hand chopped.
Pour 8 cups sugar & sift 6 heaping tablespoons of cocoa powder into big metal pot. Pour in 2 cans evaporated milk. Cook on medium-high heat (7) stirring continuously for 45 minutes. Add a jar of marshmallow cream, stir until well mixed. Add 1 stick of margarine, stir until well mixed. 

(Optional- Add hand chopped pecans, stir until well mixed). Pour into greased pan. Let almost totally cool, then cut into 1 squares.

 My family's old  recipe for mouth watering fudge. This is the best fudge you could ever eat, the smell alone is wonderful. This is a sugary chocolate candied type of  fudge, not a cake fudge.
